The MotoGP riders are back on track: The first test of the new season will take place from February 10th to 12th in Sepang, Malaysia. We'll show you the schedule for the three days.
On Friday, the MotoGP riders will have their first chance to test their new bikes on the track. The action starts at 10:00 a.m. local time (3:00 a.m. CET) and ends at 6:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. CET). On Saturday and Sunday, the riders will be back on track from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time (3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CET).
The test in Sepang is an important opportunity for the riders to get used to their new bikes and to work on their setup. The results of the test will give an indication of the strength of the different teams and riders ahead of the new season.
The MotoGP season starts on March 26th with the Grand Prix of Qatar. A total of 21 races are on the calendar, with the season finale taking place on November 12th in Valencia, Spain.
