Hildesheim: Serious Accident on the A7

Two people were seriously injured in an accident on the A7 near Hildesheim on Thursday evening.

According to police, a 24-year-old woman from Hanover was driving her car on the A7 in the direction of Kassel when she lost control of her vehicle for reasons that are still unclear.

The car skidded across the road and collided with the guardrail. The woman and her 26-year-old passenger from Hildesheim were seriously injured in the accident.

The A7 was completely closed for several hours after the accident.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
