Doran Grant on Urban Meyer's Take on Ohio State's Roster Being the Best of the Decade - "We'll See"

Doran Grant Has a Different Opinion Than Urban Meyer

Former Ohio State cornerback Doran Grant doesn't agree with Urban Meyer's assessment that the Buckeyes' current roster is the best of the decade.

Grant, who played for the Buckeyes from 2011 to 2014, said on Twitter that he believes the 2012 Ohio State team was better than the current squad.

The 2012 Ohio State team finished 12-0 and won the Big Ten championship. The team featured a number of future NFL stars, including quarterback Braxton Miller, running back Carlos Hyde, and wide receiver Devin Smith.

Ohio State Has a Lot of Talent

Despite Grant's opinion, there is no doubt that the current Ohio State roster is very talented.

The Buckeyes have a number of five-star recruits, including quarterback C.J. Stroud, running back TreVeyon Henderson, and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

Ohio State is also ranked No. 2 in the preseason AP Poll.

Only Time Will Tell

Only time will tell if the current Ohio State team is as good as the 2012 squad.

The Buckeyes have a tough schedule this season, including games against Notre Dame, Penn State, and Michigan.

If the Buckeyes can win those games and finish the season undefeated, they will have a strong case for being considered the best team of the decade.
