WhatsApp’s Halloween update rolls out new feature for trick-or-treaters
Trick-or-treaters will be able to use WhatsApp’s new feature, “Trick or treat,” to request candy from their neighbors.
The feature, which is available in the latest version of the app, allows users to send a message to their neighbors with a picture of their costume and a message saying “Trick or treat.” Neighbors can then respond with a message saying “Treat” or “No thanks.”
The “Trick or treat” feature is a fun and easy way for trick-or-treaters to get candy from their neighbors. It’s also a great way for neighbors to connect with each other and get into the Halloween spirit.
To use the “Trick or treat” feature, open the WhatsApp app and tap on the “Chats” tab. Then, tap on the “New Chat” button and select the contact of the neighbor you want to send a message to.
In the chat window, tap on the “Attach” button and select the “Photo” option. Then, select the picture of your costume that you want to send.
Finally, type in the message “Trick or treat” and tap on the “Send” button.
Your neighbor will receive a message with a picture of your costume and a message saying “Trick or treat.” They can then respond with a message saying “Treat” or “No thanks.”
If your neighbor responds with a message saying “Treat,” they will be prompted to send you a picture of the candy they are giving you. You can then tap on the picture to save it to your phone.
