UofM Home Opener: Alcohol Availability for Fans
Tailgating and Alcohol Consumption
Fans attending the UofM home opener tonight are permitted to bring alcohol into the stadium. However, there are certain restrictions in place.
Alcohol may only be consumed in designated tailgating areas. These areas are located in the parking lots surrounding the stadium.
Fans may not bring alcohol into the stadium itself.
Types of Alcohol Permitted
Only beer and wine are permitted in tailgating areas.
Hard liquor is not allowed.
All alcohol must be in sealed containers.
Responsible Drinking
Fans are reminded to drink responsibly.
Do not drink and drive.
If you see someone who has had too much to drink, please report them to a stadium security officer.
Consequences of Alcohol Violations
Fans who violate the alcohol policy may be subject to ejection from the stadium.
Fans who are arrested for drunk driving may face criminal charges.
Please drink responsibly and have a safe and enjoyable time at the UofM home opener.
