UO, OSU football games to draw large crowds to Eugene, Corvallis

Oregon Department of Transportation warns of delays

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is warning drivers to expect delays on Interstate 5 on Saturday, Nov. 12, due to two major college football games in Eugene and Corvallis.

The University of Oregon Ducks will host the Utah Utes at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, while the Oregon State Beavers will host the Arizona Wildcats at Reser Stadium in Corvallis.

Both games are expected to draw large crowds, and ODOT is advising drivers to plan for extra travel time.

ODOT recommends that drivers consider taking alternate routes, such as Highway 126 or Highway 20, to avoid the heaviest traffic.

Drivers can also check ODOT's TripCheck website or mobile app for real-time traffic updates.

The games are scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively. ODOT advises drivers to allow for extra travel time before and after the games.
