Wyoming quarterback Evan Svoboda will lead his team against Arizona State on Saturday. Evan is a native of Mesa, Arizona and is making his homecoming as the starting quarterback at Arizona State.

Evan Svoboda, a Wyoming native, is set to make his homecoming this Saturday as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys when they take on Arizona State.

Svoboda, who grew up in Mesa, Arizona, played his high school football at Westwood High School.

He was a standout player for the Warriors, leading them to a state championship in 2018.

Svoboda committed to Wyoming in 2019 and redshirted his first season.

He played in four games in 2020 and started the final three games of the 2021 season.

Svoboda has thrown for 1,000 yards and six touchdowns in his career.

He will be facing an Arizona State team that is coming off a 3-9 season.

The Sun Devils are led by first-year head coach Kenny Dillingham.
