BATON ROUGE, La. - LSU football's coaching staff has remained busy evaluating talent for the upcoming season.

The Tigers have landed a commitment from the No. 1 cornerback in the country.

Toriano Pride, a 6'2", 185-pound defensive back from Cocoa, Florida, committed to play for LSU in June 2022.

Pride Makes Official Visit to SEC Program

Pride recently made an official visit to an SEC program this week.

The visit was the first official visit for Pride since he committed to LSU.

The Tigers are hoping to keep Pride in the fold.

• Pride is considered one of the top playmakers in the country.
• He had over 60 tackles and seven interceptions as a junior.
• Pride is also a standout on the track team.

The Tigers are hoping to have Pride on their roster for the 2023 season.

LSU is set to begin spring practice on March 7.
