KREIS: Emergency services are prepared
Police, fire brigade and rescue service have adjusted to the current situation
Prepared for severe weather
The emergency services in the district are well prepared for the announced severe weather with heavy rain, thunderstorms and possible flooding. "We have taken all necessary precautions and are ready to respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies," said District Administrator Klaus Peter Hanke.
The police have increased their patrols and are monitoring the situation in the municipalities. The fire brigade has checked all vehicles and equipment and is on standby for any operations. The rescue service has also increased its staff and is ready to provide assistance in case of need.
In addition, the emergency services are in close contact with each other and with the weather service. This ensures that the latest information is available at all times and that measures can be taken quickly if necessary.
The emergency services appeal to the population to exercise caution and to follow the instructions of the authorities. In case of an emergency, please call 110 (police) or 112 (fire brigade and rescue service).
