Inter Miami CF Signs Luis Suárez

Inter Miami CF has signed veteran striker Luis Suárez to a one-year contract.

Suárez, 35, is a former Barcelona, Liverpool, and Atlético Madrid star.

He has scored 198 goals in 431 career appearances for club and country.

Chicago Fire FC has acquired midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri from Olympique Lyonnais on a designated player contract.

Shaqiri, 30, is a Swiss international with over 100 caps.

He has played for Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Stoke City, and Liverpool.

Major League Soccer has announced two new expansion teams: St. Louis City SC and the Las Vegas franchise.

St. Louis City SC will begin play in 2023, while the Las Vegas franchise will join the league in 2024.

These additions will bring the total number of MLS teams to 30.

Lionel Messi has decided to remain at Paris Saint-Germain, signing a new one-year contract.

There had been speculation that Messi could return to Barcelona or move to another club, but he has opted to stay in Paris.

Messi has scored 23 goals in 53 appearances for PSG since joining the club last summer.
