Halloween Ends: Jamie Lee Curtis and David Gordon Green on Their Final Confrontation

Exclusive Interview: Jamie Lee Curtis, David Gordon Green, and Andi Matichak
In an exclusive interview with Collider, Jamie Lee Curtis, David Gordon Green, and Andi Matichak discussed the upcoming horror film "Halloween Ends," the final installment in the rebooted trilogy that began with 2018's "Halloween." Curtis, who has played Laurie Strode in the franchise since the original 1978 film, said that she is "so grateful" for the opportunity to have reprised the role and to have worked with Green and Matichak.
"I'm so grateful to David for giving me the opportunity to come back and play Laurie Strode again," Curtis said. "And I'm so grateful to Andi for being such a wonderful partner in crime. We've had so much fun making these movies together."
Green, who directed both "Halloween" (2018) and "Halloween Kills" (2021), said that he is "excited" for fans to see the conclusion of the trilogy.
"I'm really excited for people to see 'Halloween Ends,'" Green said. "I think it's a really satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. It's a really emotional movie, and it's a really scary movie. I think people are going to love it."
Matichak, who plays Laurie's granddaughter Allyson in the trilogy, said that she is "proud" of the work that she and her castmates have done on the films.
"I'm so proud of the work that we've done on these movies," Matichak said. "I think we've made something really special. And I'm so grateful to David for giving me the opportunity to be a part of it."
"Halloween Ends" is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 14, 2022.
