Glendive Police ensure safe Halloween with "Michael Myers" in custody

Glendive Police Department (GPD) is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable Halloween for all residents. In a proactive move, the department has apprehended an individual dressed as Michael Myers, a notorious horror movie character, who was allegedly causing disturbances in the community.
On October 30, 2023, GPD received multiple reports of a person wearing a Michael Myers costume and engaging in suspicious behavior. Witnesses reported the individual was carrying a fake knife and lurking around residential areas. Officers promptly responded and located the suspect, who was identified as a 22-year-old male resident of Glendive.
Swift apprehension and charges against the suspect
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a dangerous weapon. The fake knife was confiscated as evidence.
GPD Chief Avis said, "We take public safety very seriously, especially during events like Halloween when children are out trick-or-treating. The swift apprehension of this individual demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a safe and family-friendly environment for our community."
