GAME PREVIEW: North Carolina Central at South Carolina State

North Carolina Central's offense will be one to watch.

Coming off a near upset of Florida A&M, the North Carolina Central Eagles will look to put another scare into a formidable MEAC Power.

Led by QB Davius Richard, the Eagles offense is averaging over 400 yards of total offense per game, with Richard accounting for over 1,000 yards of total offense.

Richard has also thrown for seven touchdowns while running back Latrell Collier has rushed for over 450 yards and five touchdowns.

South Carolina State's defense will need to step up.

Coming off a tough loss to Bethune-Cookman, South Carolina State will want to get back on track against MEAC rival North Carolina Central.

However, the Bulldogs' defense will be tested by the Eagles' high-powered offense.

The Bulldogs are allowing over 400 yards of total offense per game which will need to step up in a hurry.

This game is important for both teams.

For North Carolina Central, a win would keep them in the hunt for the MEAC Championship Game. For South Carolina State, a win would help them get back on track after last week's tough loss.
