Lewis County took an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter, but Fairmont Senior responded with a 28-point second quarter to take control of the game. ## Fairmont Dominates Second Quarter Fairmont Senior's offense exploded in the second quarter, scoring four touchdowns to take a 28-3 lead into halftime. Quarterback Gavin Hartford threw two touchdown passes in the quarter, one to wide receiver A.J. Thomas and one to running back Trey Junkins. Running back Jeremiah King also added two rushing touchdowns in the quarter. ## Fairmont Cruises to Victory Fairmont Senior continued to control the game in the second half, adding two more touchdowns to its lead. The Polar Bears' defense also held Lewis County scoreless in the second half, securing the 55-3 victory. ## Fairmont's Record Improves to 2-0 With the win, Fairmont Senior improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Polar Bears will next face University High School on the road next week.
