15-year-old Joana L. from Leinburg missing
Public search canceled
The Upper Palatinate Police Headquarters has canceled the public search for the 15-year-old Joana L. from Leinburg. As the police announced on Monday afternoon, the teenager returned home on her own. There are no indications of a criminal offense, said a police spokesman.The girl had been missing since Saturday evening. At around 8:30 p.m., she left her parents' house in Leinburg, district of Nürnberger Land, without saying where she was going. The police immediately launched a search with several patrol cars and a helicopter. An image of the missing person was also distributed.
According to the police, the girl is "physically well". Further details were initially not given.
